Withdrawals and account closure

This page explains how to withdraw funds and close an account with WINNERS BOOKMAKING PTY LTD. It supplements the Terms of service.

Withdrawing funds

  • Withdrawals are paid to a verified payment method in the account holder's own name.
  • Identity verification under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth) must be complete before a withdrawal is released.
  • No withdrawal fee is charged by puntsport. Your bank may apply its own fees.

Payments — debit only

Deposits and withdrawals use eligible Australian debit instruments only — no credit cards, no credit, no BNPL and no cryptocurrency. Funding via consumer credit is restricted under the Interactive Gambling Amendment (Credit and Other Measures) Act 2023.

Source-of-funds enquiries

Under the AML/CTF Act 2006 (Cth), puntsport may ask you to verify the source of your funds before a deposit is accepted or a withdrawal released. See our AML and CTF policy.

No reverse withdrawals

puntsport does not offer "reverse withdrawal" features that re-credit a processed withdrawal for further gambling, consistent with the National Consumer Protection Framework.

Protection of customer funds

Under the conditions of puntsport's Liquor & Gaming NSW bookmaker licence, customer funds are held in trust, segregated from the operator's general operating funds.

Closing your account

You may close your account at any time by written request via support@puntsport.com or our Contact page. Any verified balance, net of pending wagers and lawful deductions, is returned to a verified method in your name.
